We read Grants.gov, SBIR.gov and state grant portals every night, and our software checks every corporate, foundation, utility and state program against the funder's own page. We are not affiliated with any funder and we do not award grants.

There is real money here. Pick who you are and we will show you how to get it.

We took the largest published award of every nationwide program open to each group and added them up as if you won them all. It is a ceiling, not a forecast, and it is still a lot. Pick your row; we check which of those programs you can apply to.

How we count: the largest published award of every nationwide program open to that group, added together as if you won every one. Awards are competitive and most programs pick a few winners each round, so this is the ceiling, not a forecast. Programs that do not publish an amount, state-only programs, discounts and spend-to-earn ad credits are not counted. Women-, minority- and veteran-owned totals include the programs open to every small business. Totals are rounded down.

What six kinds of applicant could claim, as of Oct 25, 2026.

How it works

  1. Your profile

Tell us what you are. Four answers, about two minutes.

Entity type, state, what you do and what you need. Nothing is sold and nothing is sent to a funder.

The questions, as you answer them.

  2. The rules

Four rule groups run before anything is scored.

Entity, location, size and program area. A program you cannot apply to never appears as a match. When a rule needs a document, we say which one.

    • Entity type: 501(c)(3) nonprofitPass
    • Location: within 15 miles of a TJX storeCheck: confirm your address
    • Organization size: registered at least 12 monthsPass
    • Program area: out-of-school opportunitiesPass

Four rules, run against the example profile for the TJX Foundation Community Grants.

  3. The match

A score and a reason, for every match.

The number says how well you fit; the sentence says why, read from the program's own eligibility text.

Spark Good funds projects that serve the area around one Walmart store; your Florida after-school program is the kind of community project it names, and a 501(c)(3) can apply once verified by Deed.

After you match

A roadmap with dates, a planner, and alerts 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before each deadline. A draft written from the funder's own requirements that you edit every word of; nothing is submitted by us. A change alert when a deadline moves or a program closes, with the source and the date we saw it.

We are on your side of the table. We charge a subscription, never a percentage of an award, and we never award a grant, so there is no reason for us to pad your list. When a rule stops you, we name the rule.

What gets in

A program is listed as open only if:

  1. The funder's own page, Grants.gov, SBIR.gov or a state's own grant portal says it is accepting applications, and we link to that page.
  2. It publishes an amount, or the row says Amount not stated. We never estimate one.
  3. For corporate, foundation and utility programs, our software has checked the funder's page and the row carries the date. Where the amount or the dates are not published on that page, the row says so and asks you to confirm them there.

A program that fails one of these is marked Forecast or Check dates, or left out. Read the full method

Disclaimers and footnotes

  1. Open: the funder's page or Grants.gov said it was accepting applications at the last run. 422 forecasts are listed but not counted, because you cannot apply to a forecast. Back
  2. Checked at the source: corporate, foundation, utility and state programs our software read on the funder's own page, with the date on the row. On 386 of the 719 the amount and dates were confirmed on that page; on the rest they are not published there, and the row says so. Back
  3. Grants.gov, SBIR.gov and three states' own grant portals (California, Pennsylvania and Illinois) are read every night. The run starts at 2:00 AM Eastern in summer and 1:00 AM in winter and usually finishes within fifteen minutes; any change we see is logged in the changelog. Back
  4. Indexed: every opportunity in the index, open or not, at the last run. Back
  5. Open to a for-profit small business: open opportunities whose eligibility text names small businesses or for-profit applicants, as tagged by our software from that text. Back
  6. Ceilings: the largest published award of every nationwide program open to that group, added as if you won every one, rounded down. The full rule is under the table and on the method page. Back
