The Hiring Our Heroes Small Business Grant Program, supported by FedEx, awards $10,000 and $25,000 grants to veteran- and military-spouse-owned businesses, and franchisors such as The UPS Store and 7-Eleven cut their franchise fees for veterans.

Free programs such as the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Program and DAV Patriot Boot Camp add training, mentoring and the chance to pitch for funding. We checked every program below on its own website.
