Colorado small businesses that are new to exporting or entering a new export market can be reimbursed up to $15,000 a year for trade shows, trade missions, international sales trips, market research, translation, compliance testing and international marketing.
The STEP Grant helps small businesses expand internationally by paying for international business development, such as trade shows, international business meetings, market research, marketing materials for new markets and compliance testing. A company can receive up to $15,000 a year, paid as a reimbursement after the trip or activity. The page says the application is open. Applicants should apply 4 to 6 weeks before the activity; for trade shows OEDIT itself attends, they apply during that show's window.
