National GridNo deadline listed$25,000 – $250,000

Summary

Municipalities, BIDs and nonprofit development groups, and property owners or developers in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island can get National Grid Cinderella grants ($25,000-$250,000 by project size) to redevelop vacant buildings, storefronts and commercial corridors.

About this grant

It funds pre-construction design, adaptive reuse, building renovation, storefront and corridor improvements, and economic development workshops, with grant caps from $25,000 to $250,000 based on capital investment. Municipalities, nonprofits (including BIDs and LDCs) with municipal support, and site owners or developers with municipal endorsement may apply on a continual basis.
