Reimburses Wyoming businesses for intern wages in structured, hands-on internships, at up to $18/hour with proper documentation. Internships may last up to 960 hours and no more than six months, and a business may sponsor up to 6 internships per fiscal year (10 for Registered Apprenticeship Programs). Applications can be created and submitted at any time; the start date must be at least 15 days after submission.
Businesses (government entities generally ineligible, except Wyoming county and memorial hospitals and emergency medical service providers)
One-time registration and good standing with UI, Workers' Compensation, Secretary of State, WDTF and HireWYO
Businesses established less than one year ago need a letter of support from a local economic development entity
Each intern needs a paid mentor with relevant experience (no more than two interns per mentor)
