Reimbursement grants for training active employees of Wyoming-based businesses, where training relates directly to the employee's job and does not replace existing training budgets. Grants are up to $3,000 per trainee per fiscal year for non-preferred industries and $4,000 for preferred industries, capped at $75,000 per business per fiscal year. Applications can be submitted at any time, 30 to 110 calendar days before the training start or first travel date.
Applicants must be a Wyoming based business with a physical address in Wyoming
Political organizations and government entities are not eligible (except Wyoming county and memorial hospitals and emergency medical providers)
Trainees must be active employees on the business's payroll
Training must directly relate to the employee's job and not replace existing training budgets or funding
Business must be in good standing with UI, Workers' Compensation, Secretary of State, WDTF and HireWYO
Preferred industries: construction, energy, manufacturing, healthcare and social assistance, finance and insurance, technology, hospitality and tourism
