Research Opportunities in Cancer Epidemiology Cohort Studies (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

National Institutes of HealthCloses Jul 5, 2029(996 days left)

Does this fit your business?

This is an NCI research grant for cancer epidemiology cohort studies — long-running population studies into what causes cancer and how survivors fare. It is for organizations that can run or maintain a research cohort, analyze its data, and share data and biospecimens; a retail shop, contractor, or any business with no research capability should not bother applying. Small businesses and for-profits are technically eligible, but only if the work is genuine hypothesis-driven cancer research.

Best for
Cancer research teams running or building epidemiology cohorts, Universities and research hospitals with existing cohort data or biospecimens, Nonprofits and government or tribal health agencies doing population health research, Small businesses and for-profits with a research role in a cancer cohort study
Not for
Retail, finance, housing, and other businesses with no research role in a cancer cohort, Organizations wanting general operating or program funding outside cohort research, Applicants needing a specific award amount before committing effort — it is not published
