Utility Relocation Reimbursement Grant Program (URRGP)

FloridaCommerce Office of BroadbandNo deadline listed

Summary

Florida reimburses communications service providers (e.g., ISPs, phone companies) for documented costs of physically relocating their facilities when a county, city, or other qualifying entity requests the move. Labor and equipment costs qualify; engineering, design, admin, and indirect costs do not. Projects must be completed on or after Oct 1, 2025; rolling applications while funds last.

About this grant

FloridaCommerce repays communications service providers, such as internet service providers and phone companies, for the actual, documented cost of physically moving their facilities when a county, city or other qualifying entity asks them to. Labor and equipment count; engineering, design, administrative and indirect costs do not. The program is paid for from monthly distributions of the local communications services tax. Applications are reviewed in the order received, with no deadline, while funds last; the FAQ (updated October 13, 2025) says future funding depends on the Florida Legislature.
