Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)No deadline listed

Summary

Florida DEP reimburses marina and boating facility owners/operators, including private businesses, for up to 75% of costs to install or maintain public-use boat sewage disposal facilities: pumpout stations, in-slip systems, mobile pumpout units, and dump stations. Marina pays at least 25%; pumpout must be open to the public.

About this grant

Florida DEP's Clean Vessel Act program, funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, repays marina owners and operators for boat sewage disposal facilities: pumpout stations, in-slip systems, mobile pumpout carts and vessels, and port-a-potty dump stations. It covers up to 75% of eligible costs (permits, site preparation, renovation, equipment and installation, operations, maintenance and repair, and sewage hauling), and the marina pays at least 25%. Private marinas qualify if the public can use the grant-funded pumpout. Applications are sent by email; the program pages give no application deadline.
