Utah Technology Innovation Funding (UTIF) Microgrant

Nucleus Grow (Nucleus Institute) for the State of UtahNo deadline listed$3,000 – $5,000

Summary

Utah-based for-profit small businesses new to SBIR/STTR can get a $3,000 microgrant ($5,000 if rural) for preparing and submitting a Phase I proposal with Nucleus Grow; first-come, first-served until funds run out.

About this grant

Microgrants for qualified Utah small businesses that work with Nucleus Grow to prepare and submit a competitive SBIR/STTR Phase I proposal, offsetting staff time spent developing it. The award is $3,000, with $2,000 more for rural businesses (total $5,000), limited to one per company and issued after the federal proposal is submitted. Applications go through the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity portal about four weeks before the related SBIR/STTR deadline, and funds are awarded first-come, first-served until exhausted.
