Catalyst Research and Development (R&D) Voucher Program Pilot – Round 2

New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology (CSIT), with the New Jersey Economic Development AuthorityNo deadline listedUp to $40,000

Summary

Early-stage New Jersey for-profit companies (≤50 FTEs, ≤$5M revenue) can get vouchers up to $40,000 to pay for testing, equipment use, technicians and supplies at university, federal lab or approved R&D core facilities. Rolling until funds run out.

About this grant

Vouchers of up to $40,000 subsidize early-stage New Jersey companies' use of equipment, technicians, makerspaces, datasets and supplies at participating core facilities (New Jersey colleges and universities, federal labs, NJEDA-approved strategic innovation centers and nonprofit R&D organizations) for projects in eight target industries. After the project and reports are accepted, CSIT disburses funds to the grantee, which reimburses the core facility. CSIT accepts applications on a rolling basis while funds last; the budget was $3,420,105 as of August 20, 2026.
