About this grant

MMDP provides financial assistance to businesses and organizations that expand or develop markets for recovered (recycled) materials. It pays only for manufacturing equipment that makes products containing recovered materials, or that does final processing of recovered materials into feedstock for other manufacturers. It may fund up to 75% of specific equipment costs, up to $100,000 for this year's projects; the award tier (up to $50,000, $75,000 or $100,000) depends on points for jobs created, tons diverted and applicant match. FY2027 applications are accepted on an open-call basis until the available funds are awarded.
