Maryland employers and sponsors of Registered Apprenticeships can receive up to $3,000 per new adult apprentice or $7,500 per new high school apprentice to offset training costs; open until funds are exhausted.
Established under the RAISE Act, the Maryland Apprenticeship Incentive Program helps Maryland businesses offset the cost of training Registered Apprentices. Registered Apprenticeship sponsors or employers may receive up to $3,000 for each newly registered adult apprentice, or up to $7,500 for each newly registered high school level apprentice, for instruction, mentorship and on-the-job learning, recruitment, disability accommodations and supportive services. MD Labor's solicitations list shows the program open since January 29, 2026 until funds are exhausted.

Applications must be submitted within 30 days of an apprentice's initial registration with the MD Labor Office of Apprenticeship.
Apprentices must be within their first year of employment as a Registered Apprentice.
Apprentices must remain employed and registered for at least seven months following application submission.
