Summary

Louisiana employers with 50 or fewer employees, 3+ years in business and paying into the UI system can be reimbursed up to $3,000 per trainee per fiscal year for tuition and books for off-the-shelf employee training.

About this grant

SBET reimburses small Louisiana employers for tuition and required textbooks and manuals for standardized (off-the-shelf) training of existing employees, once the training is completed and documented. Employers apply online and must get written approval before training starts; employers may submit more than one application per year as long as training is completed by June 30 of the fiscal year it began. No application deadline is listed.
