Kansas employers and other sponsors running or starting Registered Apprenticeship programs can apply for up to $100,000 for staffing, outreach, instruction, marketing and training equipment, with emphasis on youth apprentices. Window closes Oct 23, 2026.
This grant gives direct operational support to new and existing Kansas Registered Apprenticeship programs, including program development and expansion, staffing, outreach, employer engagement, technical instruction, marketing and training equipment, with a focus on youth apprentices ages 16-17. Individual grants of up to $100,000 will be awarded. New programs must register at least five apprentices within twelve months of award, and current programs must grow enrollment at least 5% year over year. Applications are accepted September 18 to October 23, 2026.
Eligible Kansas Registered Apprenticeship programs (multi-employer intermediaries or single-employer program sponsors) are encouraged to apply.
Business and non-profit applicants must be in good standing with the Kansas Secretary of State at submission and throughout the grant agreement.
New programs must register a minimum of five Registered Apprentices within twelve months of being awarded.
Current programs must increase Registered Apprenticeship enrollment by at least 5% year over year in high-wage, high-demand occupations.
