Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (administered under contract by Clean Energy Economy for the Region, CLEER)No deadline listed

Summary

Colorado businesses replacing old diesel equipment (terminal tractors, construction equipment, TRUs, ground support equipment, mowers, farm tractors, bucket trucks, snow groomers) with all-electric or hybrid-electric models can get grants of up to 25-45% of project cost. Rolling.

About this grant

This program gives grants to help offset the cost of replacing old diesel equipment with all-electric or hybrid-electric equivalents. Covered equipment includes terminal tractors, construction equipment, transport refrigeration units, airport ground support equipment, lawn mowers, farm tractors, bucket trucks and snow groomers, plus related electrical infrastructure and idle-reduction technology. Grants may be up to 25-45% of project cost depending on equipment type, and the replaced diesel unit usually must be scrapped. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis while funding lasts.
