About this grant

Southwest's Medical Flight Network (formerly the Medical Transportation Grant Program) gives free round-trip flights to nonprofit hospitals and medical transportation organizations, which pass them to patients and caregivers who must travel for specialized treatment. Applications open once a year in June, are reviewed July–August, and flight awards are donated in September; applications are not accepted outside that window.
