PSE Transportation Emission Reduction (TER) Grants

Puget Sound EnergyNo deadline listed

Summary

Businesses, nonprofits, schools, governments and tribes that are (or partner with) PSE non-residential electric customers in Washington can get PSE TER grants for EV and electrification projects benefiting local communities: project grants (2026 closed), year-round match funding, and up to $5,000 for grant writing.

About this grant

Puget Sound Energy's TER Grants fund customer-owned transportation electrification projects in its Washington electric service area that mainly benefit residential and designated (vulnerable) communities, such as electric buses and vans, chargers paired with outreach, e-bike programs and EV training. There are three options: competitive Project Grants (up to 100% of eligible costs, about $7.5 million available in 2026, 2025 average about $250,000; the 2026 window is closed and reopens in 2027), Grant Matching for other non-PSE transportation grants (up to 100% of eligible costs), and Grant Writing support up to $5,000; matching and writing are accepted year-round while funds last.
