Startups founded in the last 10 years and before Series B get free AWS credits (in-kind, not cash). Self-funded founders can apply directly for $1,000 to $5,000. Up to $200,000 is available only through an accelerator or investor that is an AWS Activate Provider.
AWS Activate gives startups AWS promotional credits based on funding stage. Self-funded startups apply directly to the Activate Founders tier, and startups backed by an accelerator, angel investor or VC that is an Activate Provider apply to the Activate Portfolio tier with that provider's Organization ID.
